Adrift 05:22
So far from shore, no one can hear my screams They’re oblivious to the struggle that’s slowly killing me I’ve been left to drown, left to succumb to eternity Drifting from consciousness accepting the end Allowing the waves to carry my brittle bones away And escape this pain Grasping at the surface, a cruel fate Drifting upon these icy waves Betray my faith I reach for the heavens, scream at the sky But there’s no hope for me Slipping below, I won’t let go Lost in the undertow Cast adrift in the wake of time So far from shore, no one can hear my screams They’re oblivious to the struggle that’s slowly killing me Drifting from consciousness accepting the end Allowing the waves to carry my brittle bones away And escape this pain Sinking, sinking This sinking feeling never dies, cut the rope Sever the ties Sever the ties So far from shore, no one can hear my screams They’re oblivious to the struggle that’s slowly killing me I’ve been left to drown, I’m adrift

Deliverance 03:23
Hollow and broken, life slipping away A fallen man with a lost soul, I’ve been led astray I ask you father, guide me on this lonely road Shelter us through the teeth of the storm, and never let us go Lighting splits the sky Heavens sundered by a blinding light My soul cast away to fate I hear the drums, the titans are awake Illest omen, malicious hate, all light dies All light dies Across the gulf of the ocean, I still see her face The fear in her eyes, no chance for one last embrace Divine fury ignites, manipulating our lives Cold minds and vipers’ lies, my life for their demise Their demise When your future lies before you, flayed bare before your eyes A cruel fate it twists and turns, the devil’s grand design Hollow and broken, life slipping away Crushed dreams, and frail lives Hopes fall like embers from a fractured sky Your shadow engulfs the world Prayers of the faithful go unheard Laughter from heaven above Condemning those who call you god Faithful do they know of your hate? Their souls in the palm of your hand Ruin you are And ruin you shall bring to this land Chaos sower, great destroyer Across the gulf of the ocean, I still see her face The fear in her eyes, no chance for one last embrace Divine fury ignites, manipulating our lives Go ahead and take your toll Rip out my heart, my life, my soul Vengeance floods this shell As I descend into hell Let darkness claim me Escape this world that chains me Release me from this life End my suffering and strife Deliverance

Visions 06:09
As I slip away, darkness surrounds me Deeper and deeper, there’s no escaping this Face my fears Visions cloud my mind, chapters of my life pass me by I see the eyes of those who left me to die To die Death’s grip tightens Don’t leave me here These visions fade before my eyes Visions of my life I realise My imperfections, my mistakes Some things you just can’t erase Visions, they burn, they sear my soul Memories, they fade The threads of my life are slipping away I can’t take this I can’t take this much longer My mind is breaking The Abyss is waiting Visions cloud my mind, all hope and reason cast aside Is this the end or is it just the beginning? The beginning These visions fade before my eyes Visions of my life I realise My imperfections, my mistakes Some things you just can’t erase Visions, they burn, they sear my soul Memories, hey fade The threads of my life are slipping away Fading away

This is depths of the ocean The depths of the ocean Death to all souls that drown in the darkness Black shadows slip around me This truly is the end, the end of my existence My life a fading memory as the ocean weight drags me down This is my final plea Can anybody rescue me? It awakens from the deep Surging forth to claim me A sleepless malice that has been unleashed To consume this shattered form Ravenous, reptilian eyes staring back into mine I see my future flayed bare before my eyes As it starts to captivate my mind Unable to move Unable to breath Unable to die I can feel the searching eyes, a beast unleashed, my life it’s prize Predator, consume my mind, rend my soul, claim my life It awakens from the deep Surging forth to claim me A sleepless malice that has been unleashed To consume this shattered form Die Devoured

about

The first chapter in our epic narrative. Descent follows the decidedly bleak fate of our protagonist as he is lost at sea and separated from his beloved. Battered and broken by the relentless elements, crying out to deities above for divine assistance and finally surrendering to the ocean's embrace, our ill-fated character sinks into the deepest chasms of the world. However, sustained by a burning rage at being forsaken, death's welcome release is denied. Drifting deeper and deeper into the crushing black abyss, light and life become a distant memory, and as we all know.... the ocean's depths are dark, and full of terrors.
